The media cycle is amazing at
distracting all of us from what really matters. What have you read most about
this week? Is it Tucker Carlson and comments he made over a decade ago? Is it a
college scam that put a bunch of celebrities in hot water? It probably wasn’t
the impending FTC decision that will determine which company is the de-facto
provider of 5G to all of North America.
This is a huge deal. The stakes
of upgrading wireless infrastructure should be enough to make anyone stop and
pay attention, but that’s not the big story here. The truth is that a Chinese
company is on the verge of acquiring near exclusive access to building our
wireless communications grid, and when you see which company that is, you’ll
understand why we’re on the brink.
